He’s the winner of the life He is the winner, Jack the knife I see flying pianos in the bar And giant rainbows in the car And when the tide comes in we’ll walk We’ll call on Jack and his beanstalk I see flying pianos in the bar And giant rainbows in the car And when the tide comes in we’ll walk We’ll call on Jack and his beanstalk He is the winner Though self-obsessed, he’s not a man But he is a winner man I see flying pianos in the bar And giant rainbows in the car And when the tide comes in we’ll walk We’ll call on Jack and his beanstalk I see flying pianos in the bar And giant rainbows in the car And when the tide comes in we’ll walk We’ll call on Jack and his beanstalk

I see the sunrise in the morning And my lady as she rise She goes back to sleep but knows That she will still be mine She writes arpeggios and scales When she’s shit-faced on the floor And when she has had enough She gets back up for more I miss listening to the Beatles as I ride my bike to work And now I’m sick of the feeble classic work that she rings on I miss the sounds of Led Zeppelin inside my little headphones And now she drives me to my day job and connects her own cell phone I see the sunset in the evening And she’s pulling off her bra And she quickly falls asleep But forgets to lock her car I sneak on down and steal a sweatshirt As I belt out through the door I open up to see what’s there And smash her iPod on the floor And I miss listening to the Kinks and Pink Floyd all day long And now I think I’m getting sick to the music that is wrong I miss the sounds in my ears of the early Rolling Stones And now she drives me to my day job and connects her own cell phone And I miss listening to the Beatles as I ride my bike to work And now I’m sick of the feeble classic work that she rings on I miss the sounds of Led Zeppelin inside my little headphones And now she drives me to my day job and connects her own cell phone And I miss listening to the Kinks and Pink Floyd all day long And now I think I’m getting sick to the music that is wrong I miss the sounds in my ears of the early Rolling Stones And now she drives me to my day job and connects her own cell phone

Bambo 40 01:32
Tide when the beginning’s right And the hope of culling reconsize The time has come to recognise It’s the team captain, it’s the team captain It’s the team captain, it’s the team captain Minus 40 centigrade The time the earth had shook it’s quake Quacks and forty bambo stakes It’s the team captain, it’s the team captain It’s the team captain, it’s the team captain

I’m a very nostalgic person I know it’s silly but I really miss my past I’m not a fan of all things changes And it seems that things are changing fast Where the once was a lovely old toy shop And a few music and candy stores I would watch the cars fill up the parking lot Now there’s so much room to fit some more And now there’s a minimum Of fifty condominiums Where’s the old ugly strip malls And bus stops and cathedrals They’re building more boxes To hide all the faces Of people like you and I The tiny apartments To squeeze all the people in And they will not stop We should go on strike! And we should gather up the working class On strike! But to them we’re just a pain in the ass I’m a very sensible person I know the difference between wrong and right And I can recognize corruption And sympathize if the feeling isn’t right The enterprises say I’m bitching But they’re just counting up their share It seems only millionaires can live in hell’s kitchen I think I can see a connection there I miss the houses made of stone And grass laid out across the homes And now I watch the flying drones And dog walkers on their mobile phones They’re building more boxes To put people in storage People like you and I The miniscule spaces They stack up these places And they raise up the price We should go on strike! And we should gather up the working class On strike! But to them we’re just a pain in the ass I’m never one to be the grieving But from time to time I think of this new feeling Here’s a fun fact to think about this evening If the world lived as compactly As they do in New York City Then the world would fit in New Zealand

And when I’m happening to hold the place that we can go away Even though time is full of holes, time is less the price to pay We’re at the chapel, we are one to hold We’re at the chapel, we are one to hold Let’s microwave ourselves today Let’s microwave ourselves today When the mirror shows our bones, we know that we have done okay And when the sky inevitably falls, we will fall flat on dumps hooray We’re at the chapel, we are one to hold We’re at the chapel, we are one to hold Let’s microwave ourselves today Let’s microwave ourselves today And when I’m happening to hold

Blazer Rifle 02:38
White Kenco and baths of acid And somewhere far away The studious look of sailors To fish prices today I saw the noble feet Of bloodshot monks today But, they’re out out on skipping on the beat And soon they’ll fly away White lines of cocaine addicts Sniffing up some clay It’s not the real thing but It’s good enough for today I watch the seagulls fly Up up and away They realized there’s no food To steal from us today And here’s the lesson of the day We look out through the other way And I raise my gun up And I point my blazer rifle And I shoot across the bay Orange calippos and candy ices And photographs of hate I find somewhere dead inside And I sleep my past away There’s porn on their televisions And women on their third page Hung up on the tattooed walls Of the butterfly huts they’ve made And here’s the lesson of the day We look out through the other way And I raise my gun up And I point my blazer rifle And I shoot across the bay Shoot across the bay And here’s the calories I’ve ate They better not call back so late Or I will find them And use my blazer rifle And I will blow it their face Blow it in their face

The universe, I think I’m gonna spit right through me The universe, I think I’m gonna right a song The universe, I think I want it just to use me The universe, I think that I will tag along The universe, I think I’m gonna drink a smoothie The universe, I think I’m doing this all wrong The universe, I think I’ll let it split right through me The universe, I think I’ve died sometime during this song

about

and when I’m happening to hold,
the place that we can go away.

all tracks written by Ryan Chisefsky.

This album was recorded May 2023.

This studio album features songs originally recorded for other projects. Songs "Revolting Classical," "They're Building More Boxes" and "Blazer Rifle" were all originally written for Caspian Afternoons and got so far into the making of it that we recorded guitar and vocals for those songs. "Se Papa" was also written for Caspian Afternoons but was never recorded.

"Boomtown Christmas" was a song I recorded early on in the year and didn't know what to do with. The last three songs on the album were all originally written for Earthshine And Glowsign but I disliked these songs so I replaced them. Now, I just thought I'd record them finally. The "Bambo" songs were recorded on the same day randomly some time in the year. "Stefansson (Song)" was recorded amongst the last three songs but was written more recently. "Flying Pianos" was originally intended for this album and is the only song to be made solely for this record.
