Waste of a lifetime when you consider your choice Though, I love you You are my little tiger, you are my little boy And I love you And it’s so true He’s got a reputation to keep Always does his work right on time He’s Carl, the representative And he’s mine, oh mine, oh mine, oh mine, oh mine They cut off his finger and fed it to the bats But it’s so cute They drowned his body, floating in the rafts And I love you And it’s so crude He’s got a reputation to keep Always does his work right on time He’s Carl, my representative And he’s mine, oh mine, oh mine, oh mine, yes he’s mine

Foreign Time 01:37
I’ve got a PhD in foreign time Wonder how you trip down the line Wonder how you are to shine whoa PhD in the breast of time Tripping softly down the line Never walking to the sky whoa Seven centers cross my mind Never pleasure left to deny Never enough salt in mind whoa I’ve got a PhD and altered skies Wonder how long from yours to mine Wonder howling through the winds of time whoa Seven centers cross my mind Never winter summer time Never winners losers mine whoa I’ve got a PhD across the line Never running out of foreign time Never make it from yours to mine woah Well, what’d I tell ya

Jazz 02:00
Going for a walk in the countryside Checking out the stocks and the upper east side Well I’m going on a ramble for a country mile Well alright, alright Gonna get a stalk in the breaking glass Gonna eat some chocolate ass Well I’m going for a walk, what could go wrong Well alright, alright, alright Going for a stroll down a country lane Driving through the city is so lame Well I’m gonna get stuck in a hurricane Well alright, alright Checking out the bugs and the centipedes Greatest invention of the century Well I’m gonna get back because I got to pee Well alright, alright, alright

Never windows lowered time Never give a second try Never reaching for the sky We’re going home set again We’re on our own along the way We’re going home to San Andonsez We’re going home again We live this time of year Sandwich bags and carrying junk And loving oh so dear ones We are the crap you throw out in the street We’re going home again Back to the dear ones Never really seeing being Never relenting, never repeating Repetition is the closet We’re going home saturday We’re on our own along the way We’re going home to San Andonsez We’re going home again We live this time of year Sandwich bags and carrying junk And loving oh so dear ones We are the crap you throw out in the street We’re going home again Back to the dear ones

Here I’m sitting for a new edition Watching the empty road Well I’m just waiting for some whiskey and a pot of gold But now I’m back on the railroad track Where the country boy lost his soul Well I’ve been sitting singing old Kentucky home Well am I too late, my time has come Got no toothpaste, I better get some I see danger around the bend And my flavors have gone insane Well is it just too late to say good morning Well I’m not laughing if you’re gonna crash Into my old garden gates Well no one’s perfect besides I haven’t ate But I’m heading back down the railroad track I want to see that mystery solved Well it’s been pretty quiet since I’ve lost my home Well am I too late, my time has come Got no toothpaste, I better get some I see danger around the bend And my flavors have gone insane Well is it just too late I gotta go catch my train Well is it just too late to say good morning

Toppling towers when it falls it hits the ground I’m toppling down and it’s a long way down Fall to the ground when we finally hit the ground Running around, people chaos hitting this town Right on time, down the line Right on time, down the line Toppling towers wedding bells start ringing out Mosaic flowers when the crowd hits us now Toppling round, around the corner down through town I’m stuck on the ground never will be safe and sound Right on time, down the line Right on time, down the line Toppling down, toppling down, toppling down Toppling towers when it falls it hits the ground I’m toppling down and it’s a long way down Fall to the ground when we finally hit the ground Running around, people chaos hitting this town

When it’s time to say it’s over You realize this pain that I feel Kick kiki cocoon, the rest of October Couldn’t fit in one You paid for the one, you paid for the rest Wouldn’t do so myself, but kudos I guess When you look to the sun, you sweep up the moon Silent diamond, you’ve won, won’t you come back soon When it’s time to see how I feel You realize that it’s gone home swinging Alone in this church, the place where I kneel Couldn’t kick it one You paid for the one, you paid for the rest Wouldn’t do so myself, but kudos I guess When you look to the sun, you sweep up the moon Silent diamond, you’ve won, won’t you come back soon

No, it couldn’t be, oh don’t you know you couldn’t be Don’t release my bends and I’m waiting But it’s right, I said it’s right, right on time And you know it is Oh, son you couldn't be, I don’t believe, I can’t conceive Of this blasphemy and I know it is Police siren, when the boy dies And you know it is, and you know it is Oh this isn’t me, I don’t know who that man could be But he is not my friend, no he is not But it is fine, because it is nine It’s right on time, oh yeah But no, but can’t you see this is how it’s meant to be Oh please release my grasp of this earth Oh it is right, I said it is right It’s right on time, oh yeah It’s right on time

Moonshower 01:24
Sunshine, if it’s cloudy or rain Moonshower Sun hides, I don’t know what to say I will shout loud Hide your love away Life’s too simple what you’re after You’re gonna give it all away Life’s too simple to a point Sunshine, middle of the day Sunshower Time flies, if it’s morning, I’ll stay Late in the hour Hide your love away Life’s too simple what you’re after You’re gonna give it all away Life’s too simple to a point

Well looks like we have found the artist of the year God forbid you make a sound in which we’d never hear Well you can always stream me all day and all night But you won’t hear me screaming, try as I might And now the newer sound is created But now my coffee tastes like wax And you may hit the ground running Well looks like another year has passed and so it went I can now relax and think about the time I’ve spent Living on the road and playing shows most every night Now I go to bed at night and I have a good cry And now the newer sound is moving But now my coffee tastes like wax And you may hit the ground running And you won’t hear me screaming No, you won’t hear me screaming

Epilogue 02:38
Outdated, you’re outdated But, I don’t wanna say goodbye to you Overstayed, you’ve overstayed But still I find time for you You’re going somewhere I have reasons to believe But, I will make it, I will make it through The world is full of courage But I don’t see it, no I don’t see Change a life, I’ll change my life It’s okay, I’m still awake You’re going somewhere I have reasons to believe But, I will make it, I will make it through Holiday I want a holiday Night and day and night and day Relocated I relocated Hide away, I hide I’m going somewhere On life’s long journey I hope you’ve made it I hope you’ve made it through Hide away, please hide away ‘Til I can see you, I can see you There’ll come the day, where we can say That I can see you You’ve made it through

about

violent lights and scattered shows,
never letting down the own.

all tracks written by Ryan Chisefsky.

This album was recorded December 2023.

'Epilogue of Youth' gets it's title from a Manic Street Preachers lyric in the song "4st7lb" written by Richey Edwards. A lot of my earlier albums were named after Manics' lyrics. This album in many ways is a return to my old sound. Back when my music was a little more lo-fi and less produced. This naive sound is what I was going for on this album. Twelve different songs that are really pretty simple in sound. I experiment with different genres like country or jazz (even though it most certainly is not jazz.) The album cover was made using the scan function on a printer. No photoshop was involved whatsoever.
